Find Your Fire

Never let the fire go out ... When you hope, be joyful. When you suffer, be patient. When you pray, be faithful. Share with God’s people who are in need. Welcome others into your homes.
- Romans 12:11-13 (NIrV 1998)

January has been a full month in MOPS Africa. Here are some highlights -

Several groups have kicked off the new MOPS theme: FIND YOUR FIRE. A set of global-friendly meeting plans has been created just for your groups. For all groups that have finished going through our Global Curriculum, this is a great next step. There are devotionals, discussion questions, and project ideas for each month of the year that ties into the theme. Let me know if you are ready for this, and I will get you a copy!

We have welcomed two new coaches in Kenya: Pamela Mirikau and Sylvia Nyameche. Kenya MOPS has doubled in size over the last year, and we wanted to bring on a couple of additional coaches to help spread the responsibility. Welcome to the MOPS Volunteer Team!

A prayer request - the little boy, Victor, of our Moshi, Tanzania MOPS group is going in for his second brain surgery this weekend. Please pray that God will guide the doctors' hands and that he will be healed, regaining his sight and being relieved of his pain. It has been a very difficult time for their family as they have been away from their home for 7 weeks now waiting and preparing for the surgeries, in a far away city.
