Our leaders shepherd with such grace, faithfulness, and passion for serving God, and it's incredibly inspiring to see what they are doing each month!
Stephanie, our Cohort Leader in MOPS Rwanda, diligently translated the new Find Your Fire curriculum into Kinyarwanda for the 27 MOPS groups in her country. This month she traveled to each region to share the curriculum and train the leaders to prepare them for a successful year. Here she is with the Kigali MOPS leaders after they received their new books:
Chioma, Cohort Leader for MOPS Nigeria, has been focusing on strengthening the MOPS mentor mom position. She is passionate about equipping mentor moms all across Africa to help guide the younger moms of MOPS in both their parenting and spiritual journeys. This month, she invited Deborah Porter to encourage the Africa mentor moms via an online training. We were honored to hear what she shared with us:
Sarah, our Cohort Leader-in-training for Kenya wrote this:
"We had the banner right at the door. The door remained wide open throughout the session...the new moms were able to see it from far and were sure they were coming to the right place". I love this - open doors, an accessible meeting place, and being intentional about welcoming new moms! That's what MOPS is all about.
