July updates

In our June post, we welcomed MOPS groups from three new countries in Africa. And this month we added another four to that list! We welcome our new sisters in Burundi, Guinea, and Libya. And the final country must remain publicly undisclosed, due to the security concerns of the region. Welcome to our MOPS sisterhood!!

In addition to these new countries, we have added many new groups this month around Kenya, Uganda, Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, and Ghana. These past two months have been our biggest growth period in MOPS Africa to date. We are currently in 26 countries reaching over 375 groups. God is so good! And our leaders are working tirelessly to spread this ministry to women all over Africa. Because they know first hand that Better Moms make a Better World!

MOPS Rwanda had a leadership training seminar this month with all group leaders from across the country. Thank you Stephanie and Claire for a successful event! It is great to see the ladies with their newly translated curriculum.

Additionally, our MOPS groups across Côte d'Ivoire had a two day training seminar on the curriculum and leadership handbook. Mandy and I both called in separately to share with the leaders. And Pastor James along with Cohort Leaders Bab and Seu ran a successful event with over 100 women present!

We held our MOPS Africa Prayer Day this month. Leaders from 22 countries joined together to pray in 30 minutes segments for a full 24 hours of continuous prayer. It's always a bit complicated to have everyone sorted out by time zones, but it's beautiful to have our sister join together to lift up this ministry to our Heavenly Father.
